Garmin DriveSmart 61 LMT-D Europe

 

The DriveSmart 61 LMT-D Europe replaces the DriveSmart 60LMT-D that Garmin released about a year ago. The new device sees an increase in screen size, from 6 to 7 inches (6.95-inch, to be exact), delivering an even bigger satnav for your money.

The Garmin DriveSmart 61 Europe LMT-D packs tons of features into a 7-inch sat-nav that isn’t hugely expensive for its size.

Nice design

Takes forever to reroute and doesn’t give best route even when asked . Hd traffic not accurate and all in all not happy

Warning alert tone did not work returned back to Store for a exchange having a nightmare trying to sort it out demanded a refund staff very unhelpful misleading telling lies never again.

Large display, clear instructions (for the most part). Showing pictures of motorway exits is a boon.

This SatNav does produce some very strange instructions occasionally. Most of these have tried to take me down what is clearly the wrong road, and then back onto the right route again - adding 50m or so to the route, and sometimes even going backwards...
