MiPad: Xiaomi's first tablet reviewed

A quality tab crammed into 7.9-inches

Nice form factor ; High resolution screen ; Capable processing hardware

First generation tablet OS ; No GPS ; No SIM option

Xiaomi’s first tablet is a work in progress. The software on the MiPad is a far cry from the comprehensive offering found on the company’s smartphones, while the limp connectivity puts the rookie tablet at a disadvantage.

Xiaomi MiPad Review

The Mi Pad is the best tablet in its price range but it is not completely without flaws. Saying that, the flaws are not that intrusive and can be overlooked thanks to its affordable price. So, if you want a tablet just for entertainment purposes and...

Outstanding performer ; 2K display ; Decent battery life

Low visibility under direct sunlight ; Slippery back

Xiaomi Mi Pad: The almost perfect tablet under 15k

Not too long ago it was believed that you cannot experience the computing power of a flagship mobile product at a pocket friendly price. Budget devices had pathetic screens, poor processing power, cameras that were better shut off and buggy

Amazing performance, sharp display, good rear and front cameras, better battery life than its competitors, expandability up-to 128GB, sturdy built quality, a value for money product

Slippery & plasticky construction, no SIM card support, no Theme Engine for customization

Following the company’ tradition, Mi Pad is a low cost high performance device which delivers amazing multimedia performance than its competitors. However, the non availability of SIM card can be a deal breaker if voice calling and cellular data...
