Not a Traditional Docking Station

 

You can close the lid of your laptop using this dock. In Windows, go into your power settings and change what the buttons do. Set the close lid option when plugged in to "do nothing".

This is not your traditional docking station where the computer mounts to the dock and the dock provides power and connections. It is really more of a usb hub with dual video connections and speaker/mic connections. BUT, it functions as a docking...

Dell support carefully explained to me that this is not a docking station, nuff said

Not a bad usb hub

This is not, not a laptop docking station only a usb hub ; It will not perform as a standard dock, you cant even close the lid of the laptop
