I picked up one of these: "StarTech.com Headset adapter for headsets with separate headphone / microphone plugs - 3.5mm 4 position to 2x 3 position 3.5mm M/F " - to adapt from this headset to a 3.5mm combo mic/headphone jack on my Win7 ThinkPad laptop....

I bought this headset primarily for the microphone. I use Skype and Google Voice a lot and this was a good solution when my last headset microphone died. According to the people I'm speaking to, my voice is clear, so I'm happy.

For the price, untouchable by anything else.

Bought this for the wife to skype... the first time she had it on one ear muff broke off, then I taped it so it might work, It DIDN'T

Excellent headset. I've ordered a total of 4 and I must say I am very happy with my purchase. They do take a little getting used to but they work great for listening to music, watching movies and TV shows, gaming, video calls, and anything else that...

A little uncomfortable but it does what I need it to do. Good value.

I bought two of these boys for Christmas in 2011 and in less than 3 months both of these headphones fell apart. They weren't under heavy use; hell, they didn't even come out of the box until two months after they got them, and they couldn't stay held...

I use this headset for gaming (mic only) and for music and movies (headphones only). I have Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium sound card and the sound quality is excellent.

The headset is comfortable and lightweight. The sound quality is very good. I've purchased a more expensive model made by a company with the name logic and it broke after a couple of weeks.

This is my second set. First set lasted over a year, after dropping it and rolling over the wires with my desk chair a number of times, it finally gave out. I would buy again.
