Plantronics' .Audio DSP 400 is definitely worth a look if you're a heavy user of voice chat on your computer and it performs pretty well for regular music listening as well. The design won't suit everyone and the ear-cups tend to heat your ears, but...

Excellent sound, very comfortable. XP supports advanced sound controls with bass boost and AGC

none so far. maybe that it has 2 wires hanging down from each earbud - would be much cleaner with only 1. that's my only minor gripe about this headset

This headset has great sound and is easy to install. I got it for TS in games and it works much better than my Soundblaster Audigy SE. The USB connection is much simpler that SB and I hear details in a game much better

This headset was designed by an idiot. It fits so loosely that the slightest movement makes it fall off. I have an average size head and have not found a way to make it fit

Great lightweight headset. Very comfortable over long periods of wear time. Sound is great, mic works great as well. Long cord allows freedom movement so you don't feel tied down

Lightweight also equals light plastic...durability is in question, but I've had no real issues with it thus far. cord is about 10' long which can get in the way depending on your setup. Nothing I consider major issues

7+ years as a road warrior with this unit. It has taken major abuse. Finally dying (physically) <cables ; Noise canceling is good. Gamers may want the 500 series for lower base response

As mentioned, the cable design, and the DSP brick in the cable ; Not all DSP's are the same. Someone bought a pair and my and theirs we're not interchangeable due to firmware differences ; Overall, an Incredible offering

For the first 14 months it worked flawlessly

two and a half months after the warranty the products left earphone stopped working

Relatively easy to install. Works will for voice... the reason it was purchased
