For the money, these speakers offer excellent value for money. Detailed and open with bags of bass punch. A fantastic upgrade from the 1010i speakers at the front of the Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1 system.

Need good quality equipment (cd player, amp) to be heard at their best. Bi-amping them, with quality speaker cable helps bring out the best from them too.

Excellent sound quality, giving a clear, fully defined sound to the likes of vocals and accoustic instruments. The bass responce was wholesome and balanced. Visually quite attractive.

Floor based speakers are visually not to everyones taste, they take up floor space and are not easy to move. Cables can be hard to disguise. Some might want to include a subwoofer within thier sound system if they like a lot of bass.

I bought these to match my surround sound speakers. They look classy and to me ( no expert ) the sound is fantastic.

Well built compact floor standing speaker with an excellent range of sound for home movies and a reasonable music speaker ; Good stable floor stand

Hard to think of any. Mainly niggles, first off is the base is about 1cm wider than the speaker dimensions quoted in the specs, remember this when measuring up
