The bad news isn't necessarily awful, but it's not great: Yamaha's sound signature is fairly bass-heavy, and lacking somewhat in the treble department. When heard without a direct comparison to the aforementioned Altec and JBL systems, the PDX-30...

Very Good Bass and reasonable treble. Very easy to use. Good for both classicals and soul music

My be could do with a bit more treble

if you wand loads of connectivity this is not for you..If you just want to play your ipod/phone music you couldn't do better for the price

Looks good and is small. Sounded good until the volume went above 50%. I returned it and bought a Kitsound Boom Box instead, which in my opinion is better than all the Bose docks and costs less than ton.

Sound was terrible. When the volume was turned over half way the bass turned right down and the sound was terrible.

Pretty good sound from the speakers,nice sound detail with a tidy bass sound, nice design and very easy to use with a handy little remote.

Supports the iPhone on the charger plug. Could be easily damaged if knocked. Would be better if the back of the phone was supported some way.
