The second-gen Edge model does away with the curved edge screen, but still delivers strong where it matters.

Slim and attractive design ; Screen really pops - more than many competitors - and has fast-refresh rate (to 144Hz) ; Rounded cameras setup ; Battery goes for a day despite capacity ; Established and robust software

Fingerprint scanner and volume buttons too high up ; Camera protrusion - and 'desk wobble' as a result ; Competition is strong ; Cameras not the best overall - and low-light is a problem

It would be easy to malign the Edge 20 for turning the series on its head - as there's no curved edge screen to be found - or maybe for the competition being more inventive. But, actually, you won't often find an untainted Android experience like this...
