The XPS 10 is a fine Windows RT tablet, but ultimately comes up short

 

The Dell XPS is a Windows RT tablet that offers fine value, but can't compare in features to Microsoft's Surface RT.

The ; includes expandable storage and a depressible Windows button, and its $180 keyboard features plenty of useful ports as well as an extra battery.

There are a few annoying performance bugs. The base tablet doesn’t have as many ports as the Surface RT. It lacks a kickstand and its keyboard isn’t as comfortable to type on.

The Dell XPS 10 is a valiant effort at a Windows RT tablet but doesn’t pack enough value into its base package to favorably compete with the Surface RT.

Sure, it runs Windows RT, but the Dell XPS 10 convertible tablet can truly last all day, and well into the night.

Very portable. Over 20 hours of battery life with dock. Can trickle charge with micro-USB. Comfortable keyboard dock. Speakers built into dock.

Limited Windows RT app library. Can't install older Windows apps. Can't install third-party browser. Local storage a bit small.
