HD picture quality ; Excellent connectivity ; Outstanding 1080/24p compatibility

Picture not the brightest ; Price may put some buyers off

It doesn't come cheap, but the LX608D is so good in so many ways that we have no choice but to give it a whole-hearted five stars

Nighttime scenes are rendered in pitch-blackness - an almost perfect black., Incredible color neutrality without a lot of tweaking., Judder-free and full resolution HDTV playback

Put simply, no other flat screen television – plasma or LCD – I have seen in 2007 delivered as good a picture quality as Pioneer PDP-LX508D.
